Terrazas de Esquel ("Terraces of Esquel") is the door to
a world of endless tourist attractions created by the rivers,
lakes, mountains and the people of Los Alerces Shire. In Esquel

The winter season starts in June and extends until October.
Summer is the time for going deep into the different protected
natural areas either on foot, riding a horse or sailing
along the water courses, practicing high quality sport fishing.
River and Lake Rivadavia.
The Lake Rivadavia is in the northern end of Los Alerces
National Park. The River Carrileufú flows into this lake,
which is long and narrow, with a length of approx. 10 km.
In the southern end of the homonymous lake rises the River
Rivadavia, gathering fishermen from all over the world.
